Terms and Conditions

1. Bookings and room rentals

  • Confirmation: a booking for a meeting room, coworking space or workshop is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from Studio 10 Utrecht.
  • Payment: payments are made through the payment methods offered during booking, or by invoice within the payment term stated on the invoice.
  • Accurate information: you are responsible for providing correct contact, billing and booking details (including correct dates, times and number of participants).

2. Coworking memberships and subscriptions

  • Initial term: all coworking and studio memberships start with a fixed initial period of 3 months. During these first 3 months the membership cannot be cancelled early.
  • Automatic renewal: after the first 3 months the membership automatically continues as an open-ended, month-to-month agreement.
  • Notice period: after the initial period you can cancel at any time with one calendar month's notice.
  • How to cancel: because memberships can be bought online, you can cancel just as easily by emailing studio10utrecht@outlook.com.

3. Additional on-site usage and extras

  • Additional charges: extra services, items or equipment used during your visit that were not part of the original booking (such as extra meeting hours, extra catering, printing or extra drinks) are recorded and billed separately.
  • Payment of extras: invoiced extras or items bought on site must be paid immediately on receipt of the invoice or through the payment method requested on site.

4. Catering and food

  • Allergies and dietary requirements: if you order food or catering, please share dietary requirements, food allergies or special requests at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Changes: last-minute changes to catering numbers or dietary needs depend on availability and may incur extra costs.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations by the client (rooms and workshops):

  • More than 7 days before the booking: full refund or free rescheduling.
  • Between 7 days and 48 hours before the booking: 50% cancellation fee.
  • Less than 48 hours before the booking, or no-show: no refund.

Cancellations by Studio 10 Utrecht: if we have to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will let you know as soon as possible and offer a full refund or another date.

6. House rules, respect for other guests and liability

  • Respectful environment: Studio 10 Utrecht is a shared workspace and community. All visitors, members and guests behave respectfully towards staff, other guests and property. Harassment, disruptive noise or any behaviour that keeps others from working or meeting is not allowed.
  • Liability for damage: the person or organisation that makes the booking or holds the membership is legally and financially responsible for any damage to the studio, its equipment or property caused by them or their guests.
  • Cleaning up: please leave rooms and shared spaces neat and tidy after use.
  • Smoking and alcohol: smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building. Alcohol is only allowed at specific events or agreed times, with prior permission from Studio 10 Utrecht.
  • Right to refuse: Studio 10 Utrecht may refuse entry or end a membership or booking immediately and without refund if someone breaks these house rules or behaves disrespectfully.

7. Liability and disclaimer

  • Personal belongings: Studio 10 Utrecht is not liable for loss, theft or damage of personal belongings brought onto the premises by visitors, guests or participants.
  • Limitation of liability: our total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the booking or membership month concerned.

8. Governing law

These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes are submitted to the competent court in Utrecht (Rechtbank Midden-Nederland).
